Chacombe were a great audience for our evening of entertainment with Magician and Ventriloquist, David Tomkins, who kept us all laughing at his antics with his puppets and guessing just how he pulled off the magic tricks. David wanted to say that he and his wife loved the vibe of the evening and the village, the fun he could have with the audience who were great sports and the how many villagers stopped to chat to them after the show making them feel so welcome.

Members have an afternoon tea and Pimms to look forward to on July 20th, 2.30pm in the gardens of the Manor House in Chacombe with refreshment being supplied by Henry’s Café.

September is our Pot Luck Supper starting at 7pm on the 19th and we thank Stephen Large for making Sophie’s Barn available as it always adds something special to the evening.

The village are invited to join us again on November 21st for our Open Evening - “You be the Judge” – listen to the case and try your hand at sentencing offenders, discussing in groups to come up with a verdict? An interactive talk by Chris Tickle.
